Q: Hi, Say if we'd like to stay at a different hotel (more upgraded) in Las Vegas (I'm aware it would be at our own cost), to rejoin the group the next day, what time would we need to be at the hotel where the group is staying, for the 3 day when we go on the Grand Canyon tour, and also for the last day before going back to LA? The only hotel upgrade option available for this tour is to upgrade the hotel that you will be staying in Los Angeles to Hilton San Gabriel. We will not be able to upgrade the hotel stays in Las Vegas. If you choose the to stay in Hilton San Gabriel for this trip, then the tour guide is going to provide pick up from this hotel during this tour.

1. You will arrive at the Grand Canyon in the afternoon, times vary on weather and traffic conditions.
2. You will depart from the Grand Canyon mid day and arrive in Las Vegas in the evening. Exact times are not available.
3. You will depart from Las Vegas in the morning around 7:00 am
4. Yes, you may take pictures on the "Skywalk"
5. There will not be enough time for a helicopter ride, the reason being is that your tour is on a schedule.
6. You will go to the Tanger Barstow outlets.

Q: Ww would be travelling in a family of 6 people, two of my kids are below 12 years old. We are interested in your tour 2-4602. But we would only be arriving in LA from KUL on 22 Nov and departing LAX back to KUL on 30 Nov. I noted there is no tour on the above dates. Is that right? This tour has departures every day of the week, except Thursdays. The listed tour dates on the tour webpage are holiday tour departure dates that have holiday rates.
Please select the 11/22/2011 tour departure date from the calendar or drop down menu, when a tour ending date December 01, as this is a 10 day tour.
You may wish to consider a 9 day tour instead, if you are returning on November 30:

2011-08-21 06:30:26 Hi Kristine:Depending on the day that you visit San Francisco, you may or may not be able to visit Alcatraz, due to time, tour availability, or weather conditions. We recommend that you check with the tour guide when boarding the tour bus for the segment to San Francisco for available options.As this is a guided group tour and not a shuttle bus service, you will be required to return with the same bus from San Francisco to Los Angeles or make your own way back. If you should self depart from the tour in advanced, we can recommend that you take the Los Angeles-Las Vegas Shuttle Bus (Round Trip) back. You will need to make your own arrangements to get to the shuttle bus departure location, should you choose this option.
Please note that order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start day. We do not recommend that you self depart from the tour early, unless you are prepared to miss portions of the tour.

It would not be advisable to do this as we will not be able to arrange for your pickup out of the hotel you will be staying at, and you would have to go from your hotel to the hotel the tour group stays at each morning to re-join the group.

Q: I'm wondering what time does the tour usually end in LA? As I'll need to fly out of LA to Australia, the flight is at 11.5pm and I've been advised to be at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight. Depending on weather and traffic conditions, the bus usually arrives in Los Angeles around 7:30-8:30 pm.The drop off will be the same as your pick up location.

All of our helicopter tours have weight limits and can only seat up to 6-7 passengers, depending on the helicopter size. Your party will definitely need to split up into 2 groups for this tour. Please note that we cannot guarantee that your party will have both helicopters private, but will make sure that you will be placed in two helicopters or three.
